Don't you bring me down today...

Orchard in Blossom with View of Arles by Vincent Van Gogh

I'm only mildly irritated that every time I try to comment on a post, my comment disappears into the blogosphere. THREE times that has happened, so far. No wait, FOUR.

I'm practicing my breathing.

Chelsea and I are moving! Probably. Most likely. Our new place will be not as nice, is smaller and has no fireplace, BUT it's closer to work and is almost half the rent.

The most important thing and the biggest impetus for our move is that our new place will not have a floor-sleeper.

I know it's a tiny bit ridiculous...I'm basically moving because my squatter won't leave.

Let me be a precautionary tale, although I seriously doubt there's anyone out there as naive, gullible, timid, pushover-y and can't say no-y as me.

I'm going to pick this up again tomorrow when my stuff isn't disappearing into the nether...I'm hoping this doesn't disappear!

Let me know if you have some oceanfront property in Arizona you're looking to get rid of...

  1. Well that is one way to get rid of the floor sleeper, good luck with the move. Blogger likes to do that with comments every now and then too.

  2. It's a tiny bit hilarious...but half the rent? That's just wonderful.

    1. I know! I've been paying a huge amount for years, when I basically don't leave my bedroom...I think a change will shake me up!

  5. I lost a comment today, too... re-typing it was annoying, but I think it was better the 2nd time around. Just like liiiife...? (Sorry, too silly. Need sleep.)

    1. I need to go back tonight and redo my comments...I was just in a state of disbelief that they kept disappearing!

  6. As you may know, Michelle, I am Lieutenant Governor of Arizona and am willing to sell any amount of property as soon as the state is finished. Right now it's mostly gravel but we expect topsoil soon. Go ahead with your present moving plans and I'll keep you apprised of any progress. Sounds like a constructive and positive move, so maybe it doesn't matter that Arizona doesn't really have a Lieutenant Governor's Office.

  7. Ocean front property ? Overlooking the blue sea? a place where you can get caressed by soothing breeze...enjoying a cool morning walk ?
    Best of luck !
Everything is going to be alright.
    Lovely post :)

    1. I have visions of him going along in a suitcase or the Christmas tree box... I won't believe he's gone until I'm moved in and the door is locked behind me. That's not too harsh, right?

  9. My comments do that on occasion - but not as frequently as yours are. I hope the move goes well!!

    1. So do I! I have so much packing to do, I can't believe how much junk I've accumulated since I last moved!

  10. I thought that was only happening to me. It seems to do it randomly after I have typed a sentence or two--then poof. I have gotten where I'll copy the comments to my clipboard in case they do vanish--otherwise I'll be punching a pillow for therapy.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    1. Hey, thank you! I had a tiny blogger meltdown and took a tiny break, it was so nice to come back to your comment... :) This one didn't vanish, yay! :)

  11. Ha, I think overall the move sounds like a win-win - half the rent means you can use that extra money for other things, maybe saving for a house deposit or something?? And getting rid of the squatter will no doubt save you $ in other ways as well. :)

I haven't noticed any of my comments disappearing, except when I start to write while the page is still loading, and when it finally loads, what I had written disappears. I find that irritating, but my internet can be slow sometimes so I get impatient and start writing before I should. :P

    1. LOL I know it will save us in the price of food, because he eats a LOT, and has expensive tastes. :(
Mine does that too...I figure that little moving circle thing is just a suggestion and it's no problem if I just ignore it! LOLOL

  12. Hi Michelle

From time to time there are commenting problems, but that's just Google for you! So frustrating!

I feel for you moving, especially to a smaller place. I did a bit of a double take about the fireplace. If I had one I'd be ripping it out! I saw you visited Trish and heard about our 40C days (over 100F). This has been going on for months and is so debilitating. If you step outside you begin to fry straight away.

Sorry, back to you. This weather is scrambling my brain to be sure.

Is that squatter still there? Wow! You are so longsuffering. I hope the move gets rid of this 'problem'...keep us posted.

    1. I hope it does too! I'm a little suspicious because he hasn't even talked about the move or anything, and I keep asking Chelsea, "He DOES know he can't go with us, right?" LOL... She assures me he does, soo...

I can't believe how hot it is over there! OMG miserable!

  13. Yay! You're finally getting rid of your moocher. So sorry about the commenting trauma. I wondered why I hadn't hear from you lately, and I thought, "Goodness, I must just be a really bad blogging buddy and she's probably dealing with some major trauma lately and I haven't bothered to pop in..." By the way, I categorize computer trouble as major trauma.

I'm excited for you in your move!

    1. I'm excited, too! And a little stressed, because I need boxes, and I need to clean, and turn in my letter to my landlord...but mostly excited and over the moon about not having my floor sleeper anymore. I hate to be that way, but I can't help it! Just so much relief, LOL!

And OMG, it really was like a major trauma! It did rattle me so much it threw me off my game for days...I think I'm coming back, though. I feel terrible that I've been away for so long. I hate that I'm a weirdo like this. :(
