30 Songs in 30 Days, Day 17 - A song that you hear often on the radio

The only time I get to listen to the radio is in the car, and the rule is, whoever is driving gets to listen to what they want. Unless it's a terrible awful song, of course.

Since Dwayne is always driving, it's always classic rock.

I have no idea why, even with a huge genre like classic rock, radio stations still insist on playing the same songs over and over.

But at least this is a good song.

:)

  1. That one isn't a bad song at all, but any song after hearing it 50 times can drive one nuts

    1. OMG yes...it's gotten to where I have to change the station. Poor Joe Walsh, they're playing his song to death.

  2. What is playing if Chelsea is driving?

    1. Chelsea is still at the point where is a Very Serious Driver. There can be No Distractions. Her phone is turned off, the radio is turned off, and really, no one should even be talking, LOL!!!

  3. That's a good song but I agree... when it's played too much, it's time to turn the station.

    1. Okay! Yeah, I can't think of any song that can be played over and over like that that I wouldn't get sick of hearing...I dunno.
I wonder what kind of royalties he's getting now, 35 years after the song was originally released?

    1. I agree! I just need a break every now and then when they get played over and over and over and over and over...

  5. Great song! It is funny how with decades to sift through, they all have their stand-bys. I would imagine it's a matter of DJ favorites as much as anything else.

    1. You know, I didn't think of it that way but you're right. I have 15,000 songs in my music library and only 999 in my playlist that I listen to, I rarely go outside the box.
