30 Songs in 30 Days, Day 15 - A song that describes you

Well...we're halfway though the 30 Day Song Challenge, so, yay! We're that much closer to being done!

But boooo!, I have no idea how to approach Day 15 - A song that describes you.

There are a lot of songs that I identify with, but I don't think that's the same thing. Also, I'm not sure that what I think would describe me, and that what others think would describe me would match at all. :)

(sigh)

So, this is my song. I listen to it every day.

  1. That would be a tough one to pick out. Nice pick anyway, sure it can change day by day

    1. Thanks, Pat! It WAS tough...I wavered between this and 'Unwell' by Matchbox Twenty, but I figured that song would be such an obvious choice...

  2. It was the toughest one for me, too. I think a song you listen to everyday as a matter of ritual says plenty about you.

    1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it tough, thank you!

I do, I listen to it every day, it reminds me of who I am.

  3. 'Also, I'm not sure that what I think would describe me, and that what others think would describe me would match at all.'

That is an interesting thing to ponder. (But not for too long. :))

    1. I didn't mean to confuse myself but now I'm very confused. I wish I could express myself better. I wish trying to think isn't like slogging through mud... Side effect of medication - Topamax in particular.

LOL you should never invite someone who holds a Philosophy degree to ponder! I'm gonna be useless all day (not that different from other days, actually...)

      :)

  4. I hate that I've been so crazy and haven't gotten here for all your music posts. Great song though. If I had to pick one song, and just one to define me...well for the moment it would be "Stayin' Alive." ;)

  5. In this modern day of the download, the i-pod...I miss being able to walk into someone's house and by looking through their music--albums or discs--instantly know so much about them. Even the way they were organized, by genre or alphabetically or by mood...lol Music is auditory emotion--this is an interesting challenge, I must say. :)

    1. Oh, so true. I used to organize mine in order of favorite by proximity to my stereo. There was an episode of 'Psych' where someone couldn't figure out how Shawn organized his albums, and he said, "By order of sweetness." LOL...
