Time isn't holding us, time isn't after us

I am never ever ever moving again.

I am typing this out on my cellphone since we don't have internet at our new place yet.

I will be back and blogging soon! I feel so guilty for neglecting everyone and I know I'm missing some fabulous stories. I also have some of my own...

My grandfather is at the rehab place and not doing as well as he should be. STUBBORN...

Floor-sleeper finally left, on MOVING DAY, NOT of his own volition...

We lost three sets of keys in 5 days; I was convinced it was a curse...

I fell down the stairs again, into a bush...

I can't wait for things to get back to normal.

Soon...

  2. Sending some good juju your way. Moving is the worst. I've been in a perpetual state of moving for months now only having my car to move. Hope everything falls into place for you and yours soon.

We only had the truck for one day so now we are using the car to go back and forth and oh, I hate it, I so feel you!

  3. At least it was into a bush? I mean, that's good, right?

So how did that go down with it not being of his own volition?

    1. It didn't feel that good when I was picking branches out of my hair! But Chelsea said it was good because otherwise I would have kept falling until I hit the light pole, so, yeah, a good thing?

He sat right in the middle of the floor while everyone was moving things out and played his computer games. It was unreal. So my mom came in and told him he had to go and she would take him wherever. And he REFUSED, said his friend was coming later to get him. My mom said no, now. And he said later. My mom said not acceptable, now. And then he raised his voice to my mom and said what's the difference? And my mom leant down to him and said, this is not your house!

He ended up raising his voice to my mom about three times and it looked for a moment like we were going to have to call the police but in the end, my mom can be pretty scary! So he got his things together and my mom took him to his dad's.

      Relief!

  4. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry all this craziness is happening to you. I hope you didn't hurt yourself during the fall. Hope your head is cooperating during your move. Good luck and hugs to your grandfather. We'll be here when you're all settled in. =)

    1. Thank you Elsie!
I got some scratches and bumps and bruises and I did hit my head pretty hard, but at least no broken bones like the last time I fell down the stairs! :)

  5. Things will be right to you soon. Hope the almighty will bless you and compensate the loses that you have encountered.
This is one part of human life that I really hate too. When one sadness occurs, another add an insult over it.
Please be strong. Good things will always happen for a good person at the good time.

    1. Thank you...this is so true. There can't be good things in life without the bad, it's just a struggle learning to accept it.

    1. I was so delirously happy I couldn't believe it. Friday night was the best. Sunday evening was right in the middle of our move and I didn't get to watch the game, I had to make do with radio and updates. Unbelievable! Final Four! I knew we could do it! My bracket is so happy right now!!! :)

  8. Moving last fall was pretty traumatic for me, too, so I know exactly what you're saying here. Except about Floor Sleeper. Floor Sleeper has kind of become a legend.

    1. I knoooow, my mom just got to see the apartment last night and HATES it, and said I can't stay. I was like, NO WAY am I moving these boxes back out of here. EVER. LOL

Floor sleeper is definitely a legend, the bad kind that people tell at night to scare small children so they never do something stupid like let people stay over.

Dwayne has banned Chelsea and me from ever talking about him again.

    1. I am! I'm covered in bruises and a bump on my head and some scratches, but I'm amazingly okay. Twice I have fallen on the stairs and broken bones, so I am thrilled to have gotten off easy this time! LOL

  11. Lol. Moving takes a lot of time and energy. I am not a fan of it either but then again moving into a new place has its own perks.

  12. Oh Michelle, I'm ready for things to be back to normal for you too. We're going to be doing the big move in just a couple months, and I'm not looking forward to it. My hubby says we should start packing up now. I'm just trying to figure out when to slip that into the mix.

I'm so sorry you fell. Are you doing okay?

    1. I'm doing much better! My bruises are fading and the bump on my head has gone down and only hurts when you touch it now...all I can do is laugh!

You HAVE to start packing now! I waited until the last minute and I'm so, so sorry for it! :(
